Aerie, one of the oldest houses in Santorini, is all about minimalism with a hint of discrete maximalism, giving emphasis to architectural forms. Its curves will charm you and introduce you to the authentic Cycladic architecture.

The floors are in grey colour and beton ciré (waxed concrete) as to the style -apart from the living room where we kept the old wooden floor- and the ceilings are particularly high, reminiscent of an old captain’s house.

It has a capacity of 85 m2, divided into two levels that communicate with each other through an internal window and can accommodate up to 6 people. It consists of the main house on the lower floor and features a living room with two couches (essentially coco-mat beds used also as a couch), a bedroom, a dressing room inside the rock, and a spacious bathroom. The entrance yard creates a magical sense of privacy keeping the prying eyes away, without, however, depriving you of the beauty that spreads all around you.

Going up the yard’s steps, you reach the upper level, where you will find a bedroom with a fireplace, a bathroom and a balcony with breath-taking views of the traditional village and the Caldera. Even while lying here, your eyes will gaze at the volcano andyou mind will wander to Thirasia.

We have created an up-to-date library that is constantly enriched with publications that will introduce you to the world of the Cycladic civilization, Greek history andarchaeology, and the Greek traditions and culture.
